Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and Bushra. By creating an account, starting a session or buying a plan, you accept them.

Who we are

Bushra (“we”, “us”) is operated by Younis Bashir, trading as Bushra, an individual based in Palestine.

What Bushra is

Bushra is AI software for practising spoken English. You talk to an AI voice coach; it estimates your English level, practises with you topic by topic, tracks the mistakes you repeat, and runs practice job interviews with feedback. Everything happens in the app, with software — there is no human tutor and no course of lessons.

What Bushra is not

• Not a certificate. The level Bushra gives you is an estimate made by software from a transcript of your speech and its timing. It is not an official CEFR result and is not a substitute for IELTS, TOEFL or any other recognised exam.
• Not a guarantee. Practising with Bushra can help you speak and interview better. It cannot promise a job, a scholarship, a visa or any other outcome.
• Not always right. The feedback is generated by AI models and can be wrong. Use your own judgement.
• Not scoring pronunciation. A transcript carries no sound, so pronunciation is not measured.

Your account

• Bushra is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old — or the age of majority where you live, if that is higher — to create an account, start a session or buy a plan. By using Bushra you confirm you meet that age.
• Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You can use Bushra as a guest without an account, limited to 1 session.

Recordings

Every session is recorded and transcribed — that is how the coaching works. Starting a session means you agree to that. Only speak for yourself: do not bring other people into a session, or record anyone else's voice, without their consent. You are solely responsible for getting that consent, and you agree to cover us for any claim that arises because you brought another person's voice or details into a session without it. What is stored and who processes it is in the privacy policy.

Fair use

Each plan comes with a number of sessions, listed on the pricing page. Every session costs real money in speech and AI services, so please do not:

• share an account, or resell or sublicense access to Bushra;
• use scripts or bots to run sessions, or try to get around the limits;
• attempt to break, probe or overload the service, or extract its prompts or models;
• use it to produce anything unlawful, abusive or harassing.

Paying

• Paid plans are subscriptions. They renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Refunds are available within 14 days of any payment — see the refund policy.
• If a price changes, the new price applies only from your next renewal, and we will tell you before it does.
• Prices are shown before tax. Paddle adds any sales tax or VAT due in your country at checkout.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Bushra running, but it depends on third-party services and is provided as it is, without a promise that it will always be available or error-free. Features may change as the product improves. If we remove something a paid plan relies on, you can cancel and ask for a refund for the unused part of the period.

Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time and delete your account, which deletes your recordings and everything derived from them. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; if we close a paid account without a breach on your part, we refund the unused part of the period.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — such as a lost job opportunity — and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited, including liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Palestine. If you buy as a consumer, you keep any protections the law of your own country gives you that cannot be set aside by agreement.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top. A change that affects paid plans will be announced before it takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.
